Editor to cut & paste into mozilla - Knoppix 3.4

Knoppix 3.4 recognizes more devides than 3.3 but Kedit is gone. Emacs will not cut & paste into mozilla.
Does anyone know an editor to receive data cut from Mozilla so that I can change the data then paste
it back into Mozilla. The biggest problem is with my Imail 6 e-mail program.

Use your mouse to highlight the text in emacs that you wish to paste. Then switch to mozilla and put the cursor where you want to paste the text. Press the middle button (if you don't have a three button mouse, then press the right and left buttons at the same time).

Pasting into emacs is easy. Ctrl-Y also works. After editing I can paste it back into
Mozilla by hitting both mouse buttons at the same time-if I don't mess up and hit one
before the other. Ctrl-V pastes the last thing cut from Mozilla or KDE and not what
was highlighted in Emacs. This is what caused me to be confused. But hitting both
mouse buttons at the same time does indeed paste what had been mouse highlighted
from EmacsX11 into Mozilla.
Problem solved by You.
