Easy SAMBA Question...

I have setup SAMBA for a couple of XP systems. I created a share and it is working OK. However when I browse to the server I see the share I created and another folder which appears to be the home folder of the Linux user that the Windows account is linked to.

Is this some sort of default share? If so how can I disable it? I can't see it as being shared in the SAMBA console.

Yes, it is a default share. You should have a [homes] share in your smb.conf? This is what generates a home folder for all users.

You can find the documentation at www.samba.org.

To disable just comment out everything for [homes] and restart samba.
