Seems to be a mix of sylpheed, pine, and kmail (well I use kmail anyway ;) ) around here. But you have so many options, don't limit yourself to what "everyone else is using". Check out www.freshmeat.net and www.sf.net And search for email client.

Nothing behaves like my little trained mutt!
# Common e-mail tools sendmail - postfix - sends mail to local users (and internet when configured correctly) fetchmail - gets mail from internet accounts (non-Hotmail type) procmail - sorts and delivers into separate mailboxes mutt - mail client that sucks less than all the others Email the Linux Way Suresh Ramasubramanian's email guide The Linux Mail User HOWTO The Linux Electronic Mail Administrator HOWTO Gotmail, a utility to download mail from Hotmail type accounts |
I use a mix of Mozilla and Evolution.
|
Mozilla has a mail cleint, I think it has to be installed sepretly.
|
Evolution is good if you want something like Outlook.
I use Sylpheed most of the time, i like it. |
Evolution.
I used Outport to migrate all my data from Outlook.

Outlook export
Has anybody had success exporting Outlook Contacts, Addressbook, and Calender into Evolution?
I downloaded Outport for windows. I exported all my Outllook contact info into Outport format. I sent the files to my Linux machine using evolution and had no luck with Evolution's importer. I have been able to successfully important all my Outlook mail folders though. :newbie: |
i tried to use outport on outlook, and i get this strange message:
"unable to traverse the outlook namespace. this occurs for some reason when trying to get a folders description" !!!help!!! b |
