DVDs and Xine

Awesome..i just got my new dvd burner. so how's it work in linux?

Its Problematic! css problems i believe. I use xine, just because i like it. but xine doesnt come with the needed plugins anymore. so i began searching. the plugin i believe was Xine-dvdnav. (at school now so i can't check, sorry. ) xine-dvdnav needed 3 libraries. downloaded, compiled, and installed just fine. ran an ldconfig. terrific, now its time to build the xine plugin i need. starts builing...suddenly errors galore! (yes, i did run ./configure, i would have said it earlier, but im writing as i think.) When i get home, ill post the errors if anyone replies and needs them. Im not a programming wiz, but it does seem like the errors are in the source code itself.

if you don't use xine, and have something "better", please direct me to it.
(i looked at ogle, but i already had xine so i thought a plugin would have been easier.)

thanks in advance (and also for suffering through this poorly written post.)

libcss is deefinitely needed.
Configure errors aren't source problems, it's just what it sounds like. Just missing libs or incopatible configurations.

The errors would be good, but try libcss first.
