Ok..can you explain what a "subj" is, and for what version of RHEL? What are you looking for?
If you mean the subject line of your message, it would help if you actually wrote it out. If you're looking for an RPM of DVDrip, rpmfind.net has 098.10 already out there. The source is on their website for 098.11, and has easy to follow instructions.
subj is "subject"
RHEL - I thought it's clear from the "Distribution"... But i maybe was just in hurry. CentOs 5.3 i386 would be perfect.
Yes, we know RHEL. There is RHEL2, 3, 4, and 5, AS, ES, and WS. Which one do you have?? Saying RHEL is kind of like saying you drive a Ford. Could be anything from a compact car to a dump truck.
DVDrip is basically a Perl program, and installs very easily. Have you tried to install from source? If not, the package on RPMFIND is 98.10. You can also try to install from repos via yum, if you haven't already.
it appears that there is a problem with communication. So let me repeat:
I'm looking for the dvdrip-0.98.11 rpm for Centos 5.3 i386.
I'm not looking for the current/older versions and i'm not looking for the source code.
I hope now it's clear what i'm looking for.
Yep, problem with communication alright. First, you need a "subj" RPM built, for RedHat. After finding out what a "subj" was, you now say it's for CentOS. You don't answer any questions (like did you try to install via yum?).
Let me repeat: There doesn't appear to be an RPM, for an easily-installed source package. If you want one, make one yourself. You can either get the source for the current version, or an older RPM. Coming here and being snotty sure won't get you anything. The install instructions are easy, so either follow them, or wait until someone else releases one. I doubt anyone here is going to rush out and do a custom build to suit you.

i asked one simple question - do you happened to have an rpm of the specific version.

Peace.

I socialize quite a bit, thanks, just not with folks like you. Who, exactly, do you think you are?? How do you think something like this:

sounds? "So let me repeat", "I hope now it's clear". Your question was answered, and you were asked follow-ups (which you didn't bother to answer). Given an option of just one minor release back, and were directed to the source, so you could get what you wanted. But you didn't like that. In fact, you couldn't even be bothered to type out a complete question in the first place "anyone tried to make a subj"?
If you're too lazy to build it from source, then your option is to wait until someone else does. If you don't like the answer you get, coming back and being sarcastic and snotty isn't a good option for you. Perhaps you need to "take a good advise" (or did you mean "take some good advice in English?) and socialize more yourself.
And if you tried to look this up on Google, you could have found an answer. Apparently, that was too much effort as well.
That's ok, brother, i understand - you are wise and smart. that's all right with me. Consider that my improper and offensive question was to all other members of this board, but you. Please stop your energetic flame - it's adding zero value.

As are your continued comments. You asked a question, and it was answered, and you took offense at what you didn't like. Get over it.
And believe me, I'm not your brother, and wouldn't be too thrilled if I was.
