dvd2divx3pass

i searched the forums and google. emailed the developer, and still nothing...

i got the program working with no problems. i just can't find the final file. i tried putting a relative path, just a filename, and the absolute path. i also tried running the program from a specific folder instead of the run dialog in xfce. i'm on slackware 10.1. i started ripping the movie title, but decided to check and see if it was working. so i ripped a preview and can't find it.

does anyone have any experience with this program?

thanks,
linuxinit

anyone have any ideas at all?

i have checked the temp, perl, and my home directory. it's as if the file was never created or it was deleted as soon as it was created. it uses mencoder. what is the default directory for mencoder to save files?

thanks,
linuxinit

forget about it...
if anyone figures it out... i would like to know...

i'll wait weeks for an email from the developer..

until then, i'll be using lxdvdrip. dvd:rip doesn't like my perl installation, and i'm not corrupting another good slackware install to try to persuade dvdrip to work...

thanks anyways...
