dvd-slideshow

dvd-slideshow gives errors:
/usr/bin/dvd-slideshow: line 897: 3: Bad file descriptor
and
/usr/bin/dvd-slideshow: line 895: 3: Bad file descriptor

And also will fail in the end because of error with ffmpeg when not even using an audio file, (not wanting to have audio at all).

[dvd-slideshow]#####################################
[dvd-slideshow] No audio files passed. Using 0:8:54.500 silence.
[dvd-slideshow] Working on track 1 audio file 1
[dvd-slideshow] silence
[dvd-slideshow] Creating silence audio file for 0:8:54.500
[dvd-slideshow] This audio plays in slideshow from 0:0:0.000 to 0:8:54.500

Here is a portion of dvd-slideshow script:

888 # for encoding one image for N frames
889 # encode $image $frames
890 {
891 local myimage="$1"
892 local myframes="$2"
893 if [ "$yuvfirstfile" -eq 1 ]; then
894 yuvfirstfile=0
895 ppmtoy4m -v $verbosity -n "$myframes" -r -S "$subsample" -F $ppmtoy4m_frc -A $ppmtoy4m_aspect -I p "$myimage" >&3
896 else
897 ppmtoy4m -v $verbosity -n "$myframes" -r -S "$subsample" -F $ppmtoy4m_frc -A $ppmtoy4m_aspect -I p "$myimage" | yuvstrip >&3
898 fi
899 }
900
901
902 encode_fade ()
903 {
904 if [ "$yuvfirstfile" -eq 1 ]; then
905 yuvfirstfile=0
=====================================
Any help with this would be most appreciated...

Well.. the portion of the script doesn't show how file description 3 is getting setup... that's the ultimate cause of the failure.

Hello Terry..
