Wow mine is vastly different...Here is my /etc/fstab...

/dev/hda1 / ext3 defaults 1 1
/dev/hda6 /home ext3 defaults 1 2
/dev/hdc /mnt/cdrom auto umask=0022,user,iocharset=iso8859-1,codepage=850,noauto,ro,exec,users 0 0
none /mnt/floppy supermount dev=/dev/fd0,fs=ext2:vfat,--,umask=0022,iocharset=iso8859-1,sync,codepage=850 0 0
/dev/hdb5 /mnt/windows ntfs umask=0022,nls=iso8859-1,ro 0 0
none /proc proc defaults 0 0
/dev/hda5 swap swap defaults 0 0

I did a lsmod and found no udf
should i do a insmod udf ?

PS Never did an insmod B4..

modprobe udf as root also comment out the cdrom line with a # then add a line like this --

/dev/hdc /mnt/dvd udf,iso9660 user,noauto 0 0

and do a mkdir /mnt/dvd as root

next open xine and make sure in it's control panel under Media the dvd drive is set to /mnt/dvd

Hi,
Sorry for not getting back but I ran into a problem with urpmi locking the database..I had to remove two files and now trying to update the db..
I wll come back to this link later..Thank you for all your help..
