DVD installation


how can I install the software necessary to decrypt the DVD's?

Hello and welcome to LQ!

Can you please elaborate on what you mean by that? Are you trying to play DVD's? Or are you trying to do something else that condones piracy? If you are condoning to piracy, it is not allowed on these forums.

Are you talking about taking a DVD Movie and decrypt it so you can transcode?

The time and effort you will spend doing this will be better spend with a new DVD Player. Not to mention that this is perhaps the best legal way to get to the same desired result..

Install libdvdcss. However, note that it may be illegal in your area.
