I ripped a few of my dvds a while back, but they seem to be in a different layout than the rest. The problem is that when I open the directory with DVD shrink it says "VIDEO_TS.IFO not found." The DVD rips that start with the following 4 files work: VIDEO_TS.BUP, VIDEO_TS.IFO, VTS_01_0.BUP, and VTS_01_0.IFO, but the ones I'm trying to shrink have the following layout: vts_01.d2v, vts_01.idx, vts_01.ist, vts_01.lst, vts_01_0.ifo, and vts_01_INFO.txt (and won't work). Is there an easy way to change the archive format to one DVD shrink will recognize? Thanks for your help.
Have you tried copying the contents to the hard drive and renaming 'vts_01.idx' to VIDEO_TS.IFO. Leave the other files names the way they are as the .ifo file refers to them. One of those files is more than likely equivalent to a VIDEO_TS.IFO, I'm guessing it's the index file 'idx'. If it don't work, rename it to it's original name and try renaming another.
