DVD Decryption Problems

Hi;

I just installed knoppix 3.2 ( debian ).

It came with xine .9.20-1

I also downloaded ogle 0.9.1-2

I got the latest libdvdcss from
http://www.videolan.org/pub/libdvdcss/1.2.6/deb/

I was able to play one dvd in my collection with both ogle and xine.

However I could not play anything else. With both ogle and xine the
decryption process seemed to stall( I let each sit for about 15min to
make sure).

Any idea what this situation could be about and how I could fix it?

The console output from both ogle and xine are below if that helps.

Thanks in advance

Steve

The way I got Xine to work with encrypted DVD's was to use the three packages required by DVD nav.

I needed libdvdnav, libdvdcss, and libdvdread.

Google searches will find them. I'm not sure if new versions of Xine invclude them. I know Mplayer does.

Not quite. It includes it's own versions of it if it's not already installed

Cool
