DVD's thru CD drives




Is there any software which will help me read DVD's from a CD drive

of course not. it's impossible. you think dvd drives would exist in the first place if it was possible?

or they are getting dvds copied as vcds mixed up....?

there IS software that can recompress a dvd's data,
and put it in a different format on a cdr, then you can
watch a movie from it.
putting a dvd in a cdrom drive is like trying to put
a .44 shell in a bb gun.

there can not be software available for it as it is a hardware issue involving laser accuracy and tracking precision, which can never be controlled by software.

Also, the lasers use different wavelengths for each format.
