Dualboot MDK & Suse

Hi all,
I am having a problem with accessing multiple flavours of Linux on one PC.
I have a P4 machine with Mandrake and SUSE installed on it. They are set to share both the Swap and /Home directories.
At command line, both distros work ok, but KDE wont load properly when I boot into MDK. I recon it may be because the configuration files for KDE are stored in the /Home directory.
Does anybody know a workaround or is sharing /home a bad idea.
Thanks

Paul

You can run into problems sharing /home if Mandrake and SuSE are using different versions of KDE. The configuration files sometimes have format changes from one release to another.

You might be OK if you used Gnome in one distribution and KDE in the other.
