Dual monitors, need help
 

i have 2 video cards in my computer, one is a elsa gloria III (quadro 2 pro) agp and the other is a geforce 2mx pci. what do i need to do in order to get a spanning desktop like can do in windows. i havent been able to find any help by searching google so i would appreciate anything.

have a look at the Xinerama howto at tldp.org, that will contain everythign you need.

one thing to point out... i have a dual system, triple occasionally, and i *don't* use Xinerama, but 95% of that howto is still relevant to get a basic dual head system going no problem. you can also see my old two card dual head configuration.... http://thirtythreeandathird.net/dualhead
