Dual Booting question

Hi there,

this question is about a windows Linux dual boot. And I know its a bit off topic, but since I dont use windows extensively I am not a part of any MS forums. I am about to install a windows partition on my Linux machine and dual boot for gaming.

Anyways could someone tell me or point me in the direction of a forum that could...

I would like to have on my windows side networking capability (file transfer, gaming etc) but make it so that it can NOT ever connect to the internet. Does anyone know how to do this ?

Again, sorry for posting this here, but not really a member of any other forums.

Thanks
C.

Just assign an Ip Address but don't put in a gateway address. Or you could leave off the dns server address.

you don't have to but when you do install windows is installs its own bootloader to the mbr. So if you install it second then you have to reinstall your boot loader. Or use a boot disk if you made one.
