It's fairly simple
In RH, run /sbin/lilo to be sure it is installed.
You need to copy the boot sector of the Linux partition to C: and tell Win2K to load it:
Assume you have C:\ mounted as /mnt/win_c
dd if=/dev/hdxx bs=512 count=1 of=bootrh.bin
(substitute your RH partition for /dev/hdxx ie. if RH is the 1st partition on second drive, it would be /dev/hdb1)
(dd is a device dump utility, if is the input device bs is the bytes per sector to read count=1 means read 1 sector of is the file to output)
Then use mcopy to put the file on the C: drive:
mcopy bootrh.bin /mnt/win_c
Then boot windows and edit C:\BOOT.INI (you may need to use ATTRIB -H -R -S c:\boot.ini at a DOS prompt first)
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(2)\WINNT="Windows 2000 Pro " /fastdetect
C:\CMDCONS\BOOTSECT.DAT="Win 2K Recovery Console " /cmdcons
C:\="Windows 98 "
C:\BOOTRH.BIN="Linux - RedHat 7.2 "
