Dropbox installation fail on Raspberry Pi

I am using a Raspberry Pi as surveillance in a server room. The Raspberry have a python program running that put data into a googledocs-document every 5 minutes.

This works great, but I'd like to save the data on a device instead of only saving it on a server far away. Dropbox is my best alternative and since you can save the files in a folder on your desktop, and then pull them from there with another device.

I have found how to install the dropbox app but I have encountered a problem. As the link below says I have downloaded the tar-file from the link, and extracted it. But when I try running the setup-file an error-message is displayed:
/home/pi/.dropbox-dist/dropbox: 1: /home/pi/.dropbox-dist/dropbox: Syntax error: "(" unexpected

This is the Link to the website.

Code:
wget https://www.dropbox.com/download?plat=lnx.x86

tar -zxvf download?plat=lnx.x86.1

~/.dropbox-dist/dropboxd
Any suggestions on what I do wrong, or what I should do?

I don't own a Pi but I belive they are ARM architecture (not x86).

Supposedly there is a petition for Dropbox to add ARM support, but I can't read it since I am not a member of their forums:

i would look into something like sshfs to mount remote filesystems.
