Dropbox for CentOS 7
 

Hi.
My business supports many operating systems: Windows, OS/X, iOS, *nix; more as my customer base expands. I used to more manually keep data synced between my Windows PC, windows Laptop, MacBook Pro, iOS devices. I fell into Dropbox some time ago, it's been a god-send.

My Linux work faded away years ago, but dropbox worked on SuSE long ago when it was more part of my customer mix.

Linux work is coming back (YIPPEE!), so I'm back, deciding to use CentOS 7 with virtualization so I can create a VM of a specific Linux if I so need to support my customer base. I right now have two VMs: a CentOS and a Win/7.

Is there not Dropbox for CentOS 7?
I find reference to REPOFORGE repository so I can YUM INSTALL, but it is not.

Dropbox.org gives me some manual instructions, but the closest OS is Fedora (I'm beginning to re-familiarize myself with CentOS -- I suspect, but don't know, if this is close enough). And personally I'm more comfortable with YUM INSTALL, believing it's there then all has been checked out and ancillary actions done.

I find instructions for CentOS 6.2 -- have things changed enough from it to 7 that these would not be best to follow?

I find something about nautilus-dropbox, but don't think nautilus is my default (Applications | File) is (and I don't know how to find out).

I used Nautilis long ago and far away, if CentOS have moved away from it, it must have good enough reason, let me not go down that path until I understand more.

So, is there a dropbox (install) for CentOS 7?

Is there a difference to putting dropbox in a VM running CentOS vs. installing it at the top level, that is, outside all my VMs?

My concern/hesitation was 'nautilus' not being my GUI file-fetcher, I think what came with my CentOS/7 install was a program called, 'file' -- I didn't know if that was a deal-breaker.

And my second concern was should I be concerned with Fedora vs. CentOS -- I'm assuming both being RedHad'ish it'd be OK, but I was hesitant.
