Drive Icons
 
I have Mandrake 9.0 w/ GNOME 2.0. Sometimes when I mount a drive or a NFS share, the desktop icon doesn't appear sometimes. How do I get it to show up so that I don't have to change directories all the time to get to it in nataulus?

If you open the the directory in Nautilus, or rather the directory above it (so /mnt rather than /mnt/nfs, for example), then can you drag 'n' drop a link onto your desktop?

What I am trying to get at is that when I mount the share or drive. The icon for it usually pops up right away on the desktop.

Seems like there a bug (again) in Mandrake 9 icons, I have 8.2 and sometimes all icons just doesnt' appear... ;)
