dreamweaver alternative
 
I am after getting used to the WYSIWYG style of Dreamweaver and would like anybodies opinions to an alternative html editor for Linux. Netscape composer is a bit buggy for me.

These are the best (NON-WYSIWYG) HTML editors for Linux:
QuantaPlus
BlueFish
For WYSIWYG HTML editors take a look at this list at Freshmeat.
Another option is running a Windows html editor in Wine.

i'd personally recommend QuantaPlus.

wife uses quanta

anyone that uses quanta why plus is better. really better?

I use quanta gold (commercial edition of quanta plus), and is a couple of steps over quanta, more tools custumization etc...
I haven regret the 40$ i spent.
