Thumbs down Drakxtools

I'm running mandrake 9.1.
Using the Mandrake control center to update packages I attempted to update the Harddrake tools and drakxtools by downloading the rpms and pointing to these to enable the update.
I have checked that all the rpm's were present however when I ran the update it stated that some drake rpms were to be deoinstalled prior to updating.
The problem is that it deinstalled the ones stated but then failed to update to the latest. I have tried installing manually at the command line but I always run into a dependency issue.
Does anybody know the correct way and squence in updating these so I can get Mandrake control center and the package installer GUI to work again.

May be there is another tool to do the same job.?

Many thanks

Yep same problem here too.....

But I didnt delete the download so the files are on my machine somewhere so I would be able to do a manual install...... just cant seem to find em.....

anybody know where the files are stored when they come in through the mandrake control centre?

Cheers
