Downloading photos from Google maps

Hi all,
Anyone know how to download photos from Google maps? There is something called "Google Maps Images Downloader" but it runs only on windows. Is there a linux equivalent?
TIA,
jdk

I have a alternate solution if you like---
press f11 to go to full screen of browser then if you have enable compiz's screenshot then press windows(super) button + select the desired area to select for image.
or
take a screenshot and then crop the desired area....

Nope, not in this case. Although these are .jpg files, Google gathers them together into a slide show run by Adobe Flash. Right clicking doesn't give the normal menu but rather the flash plugin menu which doesn't contain a "save image as" item.

Thanks for the suggestion.

Thanks rahulkya,
No need to be so specific. I don't run compiz but I can take screen shots with ksnapshot which comes with KDE. Opening the image in fullscreen mode and hitting the PrintScreen button opens ksnapshot. I set it to "Window under cursor" and then save the image previewed by ksnapshot.

A second option is to use the DownloadHelper extension for FFx. That was my first thought. The problem is getting DlH to "wake up" on the Googlemaps site and start adding images on that website that it can download. Getting Ksnapshot to notice exactly which picture you want (no, opening the image even in full-screen mode doesn't necessarily work) is a dark art but with a bit of patience and some random clicking on the site I eventually get what I want. Some of the images that show up on the screen are actually composites of individual images so the DlH solution doesn't seem to work in those cases.

Anyway, thanks for your help and now the problem is solved.
Ciao,
jdk
