download app for allofmp3.com?

Does anyone know of an app to help download from allofmp3.com? I used to use a script called geddum.py but it no longer works. The author doesn't have time to work on it and I haven't been able to fix it. Are there other options out there? It's annoying to do a save as for every song on an album.

Thanks in advance for any ideas that may help.

Gabesword:

I don't know if this would help, but here is a reply to an email I sent www.allofmp3.com regarding a similar issue:

Hello!

Our site supports linux fully. You can use it from linux without
restrictions (except file tags and custom file naming). Also, Allofmp3 Explorer works under windows emulator for linux.

Best regards, Tech support of MediaServices.

Subject: Linux user and allofmp3.com

To Whom It May Concern:

I am a Linux user and interested in using allofmp3.com so my question is: will the allofmp3.com website work with Linux and open source browsers in Linux (for example: Firefox).

More specifically, one part of your website: http://music.allofmp3.com/help/help.shtml?help=on#top

States that ALLOFMP3 Explorer only works on Microsoft Windows. Since I use Linux, my question is: How will lacking ALLOFMP3 Explorer impact my ability to use features such as: search function, online ordering, online encoding, viewing my financial balance, etc.

Thank you for your time.

Just to let you know in return. . .STFU and mind your own business, unless you have something constructive and directly related to the topic.

Anyone else who could provide useful info to this post directly related to the original question, please share. I, for one, look forward to hearing your replies.

And you should know that its legal status is not yet set in stone. The service is legal in Russia via a loophole in Russian law. Other countries. . .well. . .every nation has its own set of laws. Just because the current US Trade representative calls something illegal does not make it so, especially when US IP law itself is incredibly cumbersome.

Please, unless you have something constructive, don't post on this forum.

Thank you.

You are in no position to be making a comment like this, you can ignore comments that don't fit your little What-I-Want-To-Hear profile rather than jumping down peoples throats. That is just asking to get your thread closed because now you are the one providing nothing constructive.

Plus your question was answered for you by the tech guys:

Have you tried installing Windows + the app in a Qemu VM or using Wine?

Watch it, or you might find yourself losing privileges to this site if you continue with such attitude towards other members.

As a reminder of our rules, let's not make personal attacks upon others.

Thank you cs-cam. That is the type of info I am looking for, and I suspect the original poster as well.

Mod and tee: Sorry for the outburst. You are correct that it was not appropriate. My (original) post was designed to offer something productive to the 1st post. I'm done and there is no need for me to continue posting. In the future, I will exercise more diplomacy next time false / misleading legal claims are made.
