Post dovecot can't start

am setting up squirrelmail but my dovecot has failed to start
am running suse 9.3 and so far in my setup postfix is ok except imap and below is the error it outputs after running its binary (./dovecot);

Error: Can't use SSL certificate /etc/ssl/certs/dovecot.pem: No such file or directory
how can i rectify this error?

You can do two things.
1. edit /etc/dovecot.conf and unrem the line #ssl_disable = no
ssl_disable = no

2. locate your dovecot.pem One will be in certs directory and the other in a private directory. This is where mine are locted.
ssl_cert_file = /usr/share/ssl/certs/dovecot.pem
ssl_key_file = /usr/share/ssl/private/dovecot.pem

3. remout anything ssl unless needed.
