DOSTrace and SnoopDOS for the amiga for linux??

Hi All

I am looking for a price of software which monitors every file access, does anyone know of such a tool?

There were two good programs back in the day for the Amiga called DOSTrace and SnoopDOS, I would like to find something very similar if possible.

Cheers

There's kernel level auditing, name of package will depend on your
distro, I guess ... but are you *sure* you want that kind of detail
in a multi-user multi-tasking OS? You'll need a pretty big hard-
drive for logging ...

If you're only interested in the activities of individual programs
you may want to have a look at strace

Cheers,
Tink
