A better command (one which might help you find your bookmark file easier at least) might be locate. Try typing 'locate bookmarks'.
find isn't too bad once you get over it's syntax. You can tell find to search for every file on your computer that contains the term 'bookmark' with this line:
find / -iname "*bookmark*"
