Thumbs down don't know the abc of how to install softwarefrom CD-ROM , i have fedora 8


hi

everybody

Linux is very attractive but bit difficult

i have cd-rom ( software package ) with linux magzine
along with Fedora 8
i have installed Fedora 8
, but unable to install
any thing from CD to my system
software on CD are very valuable "Freedom In Science "

kindly tell me i don't know even ABC... of installation
of software package

i want to say bye-bye to Windows-XP

Whats on the CD...Does it contain linux softwares like rpms or debs or tarball.

Name suggests to be some movie or presentation or may be documentary.
