drokmed Member Registered: Dec 2005 Location: St Petersburg, FL, USA Posts: 219 Rep:	DOH! need to mount LVM2 volume from RESCUE mode DOH! I was rebuilding my LDAP directory, and system rebooted while LDAP database was still empty! DOH! Now I can't login. DOH! Booted DVD in rescue mode, can mount /dev/hda1 which has boot and grub. I need to mount /dev/hda2, but it's in LVM2 format. How do I mount it from rescue mode? Or do you know any other way I can get back in? My nsswitch.conf file used to have passwd: files ldap , but the files part gets taken out by yast DOH! DOH! Last edited by drokmed; 05-02-2007 at 04:03 PM.
