Does Y Still Exist?

For a very long time everyone has used X11. According to Wikipedia a Simmilar thing but does not have a set of standards to limitwhat it can do (and less successful). It is called Y. Does this piece of software still exist? Is it in the Debian repos? Could I slap blackbox on it?
