To find out if you have lex and yacc, open a term window and enter these commands:
which lex
which yacc

They should return something like:
/usr/bin/lex
/usr/bin/yacc

How to use them?
Try this primer/HOWTO

Ubuntu by default does not have lex and yacc installed.. You can install them seperately.. Try to find softwares called Bison and flex from rpmfind.net and install the same..

Hi ,friends, thank you very much.
I begin to install cdecl but it need lex and yacc, I installed yacc first than when I use sudo apt-get install lex, it notes that can't find lex until I find what you have said.
Thank you for all of you
