Does logwatch run automatically? How can I reset logwatch?
 
Does logwatch run automatically, or do I need to make a cron entry for it?

How can I reset logwatch? When I run logwatch from the command line twice, it sends the same email twice.

By default, logwatch runs though yesderday's logs, as per the seting in the main logwatch.conf (on CentOS it's in /usr/share/logwatch/default.conf/logwatch.conf), and you can change the setting to "today, "yeaterday" or "all".

You don't reset it per se.

And I see that 0logwatch is in cron.daily/, at what time will that run?

Mine runs at 4.02am, but note from my previous response that it works on a day, not the previous 24hr period. See for example:
