Does Kaffeine play iTunes downloads?

I run Ubuntu Studio, and want to know if I download a DVD from iTunes, can Kaffiene or another program play it?

Kaffeine certainly plays both DVD's and CD's. I don't know anything about iTunes DVD's. Are they different from normal DVD's?

iTunes is a unique format, from Apple.

AFAIK the 'DVDs' you d/l from itunes are encoded to h.264 video and AAC audio in a mp4/m4v container. Both will work with linux media players.

DRM could be an issue, but I'm unsure about DRM on apple video, and I could be wrong about the format, I havent (and wont) ever bought anything from itunes.

Libdvdcss is used to decode DVDs encrypted with the CSS. iTunes 'DVDs' arent DVDs and dont have CSS.
