Does it really matter which unzip program...

I use if a program calls for bzip2 and I use Archer (RH9)? Would it cause the program not to function correctly? Please advise and thanks in advance....

Dunno what Archer is but, on the command line, if it's a gzipped tar you do 'tar xzvf' and if it's bzipped you do 'tar xjvf' so I guess it would make a difference unless both compression algorithms are supported by this Archer.
