Does anyone know of any software for Linux that will help me learn Japanese?

Hello,
Does anyone know of any software for Linux that will help me learn the Japanese language? When I do a Google search all I get is 'linux language support' (which is how to adjust settings for the Japanese language for Linux users). That's not what I'm wanting. I'm looking for educational software that will help teach me the Japanese language.
Also, any linux games with Japanese language support such as Japanese writing system on the screen or voice dubs is helpful too for learning the language from zero like me.
Thank you

I found a link with several resources that look worth investigating.

I have no experience with any of them.

Hi...

There is a program (that you can find in Synaptic) called "Kanatest" that helps you to learn the characters used in the written Japanese language, if that helps.

EDIT: There is also two more programs that might help, "gwaei" and "kiten," also found in Synaptic.

Regards...
