Angry DNS Error - Works fine but won't cache!

I have been running nameservers for several years now, and granted I have never tried too hard, I have been unable to get caching to work.

I have used many different walkthoughs and checked my configuration, and have attempted to get it running on more than 2 different networks, all to the same conclusion.

So my feeling is I have just totally missed something or have some-how disabled it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Here is some background on the network.

....

I figured it out, resursive lookups I had disabled.

Thanks anyways.

I greatly appredciate your help.
