DIVX without sound

Okay this is rather annoying: I have three different files that play in three different ways:
One, a newly encoded file using OpenDIVX, works great I can hear and see everything.
Two, I have a file that I am not exactly sure how it was encoded but it plays the video fine but I can't get the sounds to work, when I look that the starting logs for xine I don't see any errors.
Three, I have another newly encoded file that i am not certain what was used but it is some DIVX flavor, this one won't even play though and I get some errors when it tries to load:
demux_avi: unknown avi format DX50
xine_play: demuxer failed to start

Anyone know something more about this than I? Thanks!
