Lightbulb Distro based on Autopackage?

Hi Guys, I'd like to know if there is a distro that is based on the excellent Autopackage system. This would be so much better than "emerge firefox", "sudo apt-get install firefox", "yum install firefox" or any other complicated command line

Thanks,

I believe that SymphonyOS uses that.

!EDIT! No they don't, but their system does something VERY similar.

Autopackage has a very limited number of packages. You can use Autopackage/Zeroinstall in Debian with no problems. Same goes for klik.

BTW what is so complicated about apt-get install package? Try using Synaptic.

The Zero Install system

klik - Linux Software Download

These are interesting projects. Any distro uses one of them as default means of package installation?

It's a matter of taste, but since 2001 I have always used the command line for everything, and I just hate it. I don't like to type. I use Synaptic in my Ubuntu, but there is a number of commercial applications such as Opera that can't be installed through Synaptic. A package installer such as Klik or Autopackage would solve the problem.

If you add the correct repos to your apt-get configuration, you can actually download most of the commercial packages you need / want.
