distcc error "failed to distribute..."

I'm running distcc and continually get the following errors when it's running.

"distcc [****] ERROR: failed to write: Connection reset by peer"
"distcc [****] Warning: failed to distribute ***.** to 192.168.1.100

I've set up 192.168.1.100 to allow connections (distccd --deameon --allow "192.168.1.166" and also have set up as a valid host (export DISTCC_HOSTS= "192.168.1.100 localhost").

So what gives? Is this a network issue or a compatability issue?

Looking for some input onhow to solve this...

Thanks.

AJM,
