I have a bunch of skins for xmms (also work for beep-media-player) http://abbottdavid.no-ip.info/Skins/
and want to display them some way on my web site.I have gallery2
installed. What would be the best way to display them and be able
to click on them to download them.
The compressed files usually have some sort of image or screenshot. You could display the images as links to the file so when users click on it, the file is downloaded.
Thanks looks like I have a project now.I can save the main.bmp as skinsname.png and then link it to the skin. This will take some time, thanks
I got one done how is this; http://abbottdavid.no-ip.info/fluxbox/index4.html

Your site looks cool already. I like the nextrame skin, it looks really good.
Originally posted by comprookie2000 Thanks, I will keep putting them on there then.
You need to fix your nextframe skin. The play and next song button look alike so its difficult to differentiate between the two. Also the stop and playlist buttons need an image of some sort like the other buttons (they are blank on my version of xmms). Apart from that its a very good skin.
Its not my skin I ran across it somewhere.I have never made a skin,I make fluxbox styles's but not that good with the gimp, but I'm learning.I put some more skins on there. One you may like is Rapture.
