Disk Usage and freeing up some space
Hey,
I have been running Fedora Core 4 since it's release and have been learning a lot about Linux as I go. I use this system all the time for tons of stuff and have installed and removed lots of software over the last year.
I have /home and /boot mounted on their own partitions. / is it's own partition as well, at 6.6G and currently has 6.2G used. I'm trying to find out where I can free up some space from there-- perhaps some old software or something? Are old versions of the applications or their sources archived anywhere? /usr and /var have the majority of the space taken up so I'm assuming this is related to the applications I have installed-- and I do have quite a bit. But if anyone has any other suggestions I'm all ears.
