Start calling them one by one and ask if they will give you a primary and secondary DNS number. If they say "no, I'm sorry, we can't do that" then hang up and go to the next one. Juno and NetZero won't give you numbers. Alot of people require that you use their software. Too bad they only make windows software. I use Earthlink. If you want to pay them 21.95 a month they'll let you do whatever you want. Tell them you "use Linux and their software will not work. All I need is a primary and secondary dns number, user name and password."

i cant say this enough -- get on google and save some money.
When I had dial up, <got cable a month ago> I used www.reallycheapinternet.com -- fast, and cheap --

yes I have some questions.....

1. Can pengaol be used with a cs2000 account?

2. Can Earthlink be payed in a way that doesn't involve credit cards?

3. and since I'm already asking questions, what is a dns? TO THE EXTREME!!!
