i had mandrake a while back when i first decided to use linux then i put xp back on my comp, and now i downloaded slackware ( i havent installed it yet) but i read that in order for me to get on the internet thru dial up, i either have to have a non winmodem modem or a external serial modem... i now have an external serial modem, and i think its suppose to pre config it durring installation, and if so, how do u dial out to my aol account? or is there an aol clone or something i can use to access my aol dial up account while using slackware linux?
