Diagonal lines on Google Earth maps
so, this is the issue:
I've recently moved to Arch from Ubuntu. Along woth that, I changed some of the software I used; for instance, I switched the graphics card driver, from the prepietary one to an open one. After that, when I open Google earth, some diagonal lines (from upper left to lower right) appear in front of the maps; also, they move when the mouse cursor is put on them.
Ah, I forgot; I have an GeForce FX 5200 (Nvidia NV34) graphics card, and I'm using the Nouveau driver. I considered changing it for the propietary one, but found it wasn't easy- and I've been told it's not such a good idea, either.
Any ideas?
thanks!
