Dependency woes

I'm running Peanut Linux 9.5, I'm trying to install AYTTM - blegh. Anyways, it said I didn't have a couple of things np. I install an openssl rpm, It installs -->all<-- the files I needed. I've verified manually that they are there. Yet, when I go back to the AYTTM installation. It says their still not there.

What the hell?

WAKE UP YOU F*CKER. I'M STARING AT THE FRICKING FILES.

I don't know what AYTTM is, but read through the install docs and makefile - if your'e compiling from source.

I don't know Peanut at all, but I know with debian sometimes I need to append an option to the install in order to tell it where to look for certain files or headers.

Sorry, I can't be at all specific, this being the first time I've heard of both your distro and the app you're trying to install.
