isajera.. don't get cheeky, that's my job! :-P
ok, so presuming you had a 100% MD80m system and you want to go to a 100% WIN9X system.. something I had to do this morning.. strange the way this always seems to happen.
firstly you need to nuke the partitions i'd say. hmm.. maybe do the MBR first not sure...
well to do the MBR boot on a win floppy which contains fdisk and run good old nasty old 'fdisk /MBR' which should put a win9x boot sector on the drivfe, making linux inacessible. not suer what a fat32less drive with a windoze MBR will do but.. well that's irrelevant.
ok, so you should have lost linux.. WHY??!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? Traitor :-)
begin to reinstall MD80 from cdrom, and choose expert install. when you get as far as choosing partition sizes wihth diskdrake, remove the linux partitions completely. Going on to the next screen should wriet the partition table. pull the power socket out of the wall.
You need to do this as windows is bobbins and can't even vageuly recognise linux partitions, let alone delete them. There's probably a less erm.. ungraceful way to do this, but it's very very easy, and doesn't involve partition magic. Anyone gonna suggest a way that's as simple? would be nice to know.
now boot on your floppy again and run fdisk, and add a primary partition.
reboot on fd again and format the drive. then go back to fdisk and set the primary partition to bootable. reboot.... regret you're nistalling windows yet again...
