Default clock settings

Hi... I'm fairly new to linux.. I'm running Mandriva but I think this question could be answered from any distro.. The default clock is a 24hr clock............ Is there any way to make show up as a 12hr clock like 9:35 pm or 6:15 am or the like? This 23:25 thingy drives me nuts... Not that I don't know how to use military time but for cr*p sakes. How do I get around this?

Cheers!!

In gnome: right click on the clock, select preferences and from the drop-down menu select 1'2 hour' as your clock type.

...and in KDE: Right click the clock, choose "Configure" and away you go. Lots of things in KDE have similar menus when you right-click them (eg the Desktop, the Panel, Icons on your desktop....).

Ooops.... I guess I'm not that new to Linux... :) I found those options But I'm talkin' about the way it dispays on the desktop.. Like now it 2:10 am in the morning where I am and I see a 0 in front of it. Like this ( 02:10 am ) I don't want to see the 0 at the start of the display.. :P
