Hi, guys!
I have a problem with uploading files. When i try to upload file biger then 50k (!) after 3-4 minutes i get the following message "The connection to site is broken" (or something like that). I see in my network monitor that in 1 minute actualy file uploads with speed 7-9kbps, after that the speed of uploading is 0.1kbps, 0kbps and upload is death... I view my php.ini and evrething is OK... I tryed with different browsers (mozzila, firefox, konqueror...) but nothing... I search in i-net but can't find a solution for this problem : ). I do my best but nothing.... Please if everybody can help me let's help!!! I use Knoppix(V3.4-2004-05-10-EN) distribusion, KDE interface and wireless i-net (wlan card with chipset rtl 8180l).
Thanks!!!
P.S. I'm new in the world of Linux! I sorry for my bad English... i'll learn this lang soon, i hope...
Are you uploading the file through a PHP-based website? If so, the majority of sites on the internet have a script timeout period of 30 sec - 1 min. That is what the problem likely is. Try breaking the file up into smaller components before uploading it.
