Refusing to initialize GTK+.

This started recently, while I am trying to delete / remove much apache and tomcat setup and configs, as i need to do a clean start of the new configuration . .

Restarting computer, and suddenly it doesnt work anymore !!

Thanks for any help, I am new to linux and no idea how to overcome this one !

Is this when it's trying to boot to a desktop?

Might try and see if you can run gdm manually as root. See if it produces any errors. Also, check your logs in /var/logs/Xorg.0.log and dmesg.

I would guess that the helper it's referring to is GDM (or XDM/KDM, etc)
