debian and init.d

hello everyone
i have 2 scripts in init.d vhcs2_daemon and vhcs2_network
i want to add "/etc/init.d/vhcs2_daemon start" and "/etc/init.d/vhcs2_network start" on linux boot how to do it?
my runlevel is 2 (i have seen it in /etc/inittab)
so i execute the below command in /etc/rc2.d
Code:
debian:/etc/rc2.d# ln -s /etc/init.d/vhcs2_daemon S92vhcs2daemon
debian:/etc/rc2.d# ln -s /etc/init.d/vhcs2_network S93vhcs2network
is it the good commands?
thanks

That's definitely one solution, and should work well. However, a bit more elegant solution is to use the update-rc.d command (manpage for more info). It's a bit like the chkconfig command in Redhat based distros.
