dc++ problem

I have recently installed dc++, on my comp (mandrake 9.2) . It is connecting to the hub, showing all the files. But when I try to download the files, in the status tab "GDL" below shows waiting and never downloads.

Another problem is that when I select a diretory for sharing and downloading it does not takes that directory.

Please help.
Thanks

hi!

u didnt need to part a new thread for it :-)
So, as far as the share directory problem is concerned, you have to select a *file* in tha directory and then click on 'ok' ... it'll then put the directory on share.

And as far as your problem as for, you are not able to download data: check the user preferences(while you are connected to the hub).. the error is clearly stated... that "no download directory specified" ..
it happens that the profile that you initially loaded is erased when you connect to the hub, so you may need to sane the profiel and reload it. And if the download directory is thr in the user preferences, then probably the problem is with the write permissions to that directory! ..

All the Best.

enjoy!
